Description
A go devel is threaded onto the wire rope and dropped downhole in order to release an overshot from the fishing neck. This is useful when drag tools (saving water with slips) have discovered a leaking or blown joint and the tool needs to be lowered to the next lower stand temporarily while the bad joint is replaced.
